Elizabeth Warren and CFPB

Elizabeth Warren

Advocate for the People

Elizabeth Warren, the senior United States Senator from Massachusetts, was one of the very first people to rally for consumer advocacy. Warren played a huge part in the creation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) which fights for consumer rights. Along with Sen. Warren, we at Young’s Law Firm believe in upholding consumer rights. Being taken advantage of is never a good feeling and we want to help you take back your money from big corporations. People like Sen. Warren and ourselves will do everything in our power to get you back what was stolen and more.

CFPB

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau or CFPB is an independent unit funded by the Federal Reserve that fights for consumer rights in big business. CFPB is responsible for creating and enforcing rules and guidelines for big businesses to follow. CFPB was created to give every American family a fair shot and make the financial markets work for the people instead of the other way around. CFPB wants to keep simple tasks like picking a credit card and applying for a mortgage simple. Many people in the U.S. government are opposed to this program because it interferes with their ability to swindle money from the public, but regardless of the opposition, CFPB continues to fight for the American families across the country.
